Anderson Heating & Air Terms & Conditions

Service/Maintenance Warranty Terms:
1) Repairs come with a 1yr parts and labor warranty covering the items serviced. (Non-Member Customers)
2) Warranty does not cover any future breakdowns or parts that were not repaired or replaced during service visit.
3) Warranty does not apply to refrigerant, refrigerant leaks, or the injection of leak stop.

Proposal/Estimate/Invoice Terms:
1) Proposal and listed pricing are valid for 30 days from listed date on front of form.
2) Any repairs/attempted repairs made by a service company other than Anderson Heating & Air Inc shall void the labor warranty.
3) Any unpaid/past due invoices are subject to a late fee charge of 2% of the total invoice amount.

HVAC Equipment Warranty:
1) Parts/Manufacturer warranty as stated is non-transferable. The warranty is limited to 5yrs if the system transfers ownership.
2) Labor warranty is non-transferable.
3) Diagnostic Fee will apply after the labor warranty period has expired.
4) Any service call or failure due to neglect of maintenance is not covered under the parts or labor warranty.
5) Physical Damage of any kind is not covered under the labor or parts warranty for equipment and duct work. Including, but not limited to: Damage to any unit due to being moved/dislodged, struck/hit by any person/object, pet urine, rodent damage, improperly installed filters, coil damage from improper cleaning, or the covering of the side or top of any unit.
6) We do not warranty new or old drain lines, drain pans, or refrigerant line sets against blockages, clogs, freezing, or algae that cause backups. Any drain or refrigerant lines that are replaced during installation that leak due to workmanship issues are covered under this warranty.
7) We do not warranty duct work that is not replaced during installation. We will recommend replacing or repairing duct work during the initial sales call, if required. If we deem duct work acceptable, then we will cover any costs involved in getting duct work to pass Title 24 testing. If a customer chooses to leave existing duct work against our recommendation, they will be liable for all costs involved to get the system to pass Title 24 testing.
8) Maintenance per manufacturer recommended service intervals must be performed on installed equipment by a properly trained/licensed service company or the warranty shall become void. (Anderson Heating & Air offers a monthly maintenance plan that will guarantee the units will meet any warranty maintenance requirements. Please speak with your representative for more information on this plan)

Water Heater Warranty:
1) Natural & LP Gas units come with a 6yr tank warranty and a 1yr parts & labor warranty.
2) Hybrid Heat Pump units come with a 10yr parts and tank warranty, along with a 1yr labor warranty.

Whole House Fan Warranty:
1) All Quietcool whole house fan systems come with a 15yr parts warranty and 1yr labor warranty.

Permit Responsibilities:
1) Anderson Heating & Air will submit all documents and fees required to obtain the proper permits for the installation, if required.
2) We will attempt to schedule your inspection visit while we are onsite with you. If you elect to schedule it on your own, it is your responsibility to do it within the timeframe allotted by the city/county. If you allow the permit to expire, the owner will be responsible for all fees required to reinstate the permit. Anderson Heating & Air will not provide any reminders as to an open permit expiring; however, the city/county may send a notice to remind you.
3) It is the responsibility of the owner to inform Anderson Heating & Air if any corrections are required by the inspector. If the permit expires due to not performing the required corrections that Anderson Heating & Air is not made aware of, it will be the responsibility of the owner to pay all fees to reinstate the expired permit.
4) Cities and counties do not provide a set time for the inspection; they only provide a day it will be completed. Anderson Heating & Air has no control over the time of day of the inspection.
5) If your installation is on the roof or in the attic a ladder will need to be set up and the access opened prior to the inspector’s arrival. The ladder needs to extend 3ft above the roof line and tied off or be at least within 12” of the attic opening. The inspectors do not carry ladders and will fail the job for the ladder not being set up before their arrival. Anderson Heating & Air can provide and set up a ladder the morning of the inspection, it is your responsibility to notify us at least 1 business day before your scheduled inspection that you require a ladder.
